To provide one year’s financial support to up to four promising candidates undertaking an AUT Master of Philosophy — Applied Biostatistics (thesis only). This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in a health research group with senior biostatistical supervision while undertaking your master’s.
Applicants may be New Zealand citizens, New Zealand permanent residents, or international students.
An annual stipend of NZ$10,000 per year.

A fully-funded PhD scholarship is available to study the high-temperature processing of New Zealand ironsand. This PhD will be jointly awarded by Victoria University of Wellington and the University of Wollongong (Australia).
Total value : The successful applicant will receive a stipend of $25,000 per annum, as well as payment of all university tuition fees.
Tenure of award : The scholarship is to be awarded for a period of 3 years.

Applicants must be well-trained, empirically bent students with an interest in insurance markets, agricultural or health economics, and/or economic geography.
